I saw this idea at a local craft show last summer and when my mom brought over a her collection of clay pots for our rummage sale last month I decided to give it a try. Basically all you do is stick a piece of rebar into the ground to support the tower and then thread the pots on (through the drainage holes in the bottom) then lean them over each other until you get the angle you want and/or until they stay put. It helps to have the potting soil in them when you do this. I even tried hanging some from a tree and while I like how they look, it's just not going to last in the wind here.

I am going to have to do this when it cools off here...nothing really grows in AZ in July and August!!
